Wind Under Dragon Wings Pendant
Flying over a background of flame red agate leaving flames in his wake, this fiery dragon was inspired by Smaug, from J.R.R. Tolkien's book The Hobbit, and is best described by the following quote from the author: "May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks."
Dragons are a source of primeval power, a master of all elements. With his symbolic flame outlined in sterling silver on the back, our dragon embodies strength, wisdom, protection, and success. He is firmly connected with a post embedded directly in the gemstone.
Agate has a long history of being coveted as gemstones, ornaments, and amulets. It's been found in Neolithic sites and was prized by the ancient Greeks for its many unusual patterns and colors.
Our dragon, his frame and the square snake chain he's on, are all solid sterling silver.
The pendant is 3.6cm (1-3/8") tall including the bail x 1.9cm (5/8") wide. It is on a 20 inch long sterling silver square snake chain finished with a lobster clasp.
