Leaf Inlay Pendant (Moss Agate)
In every culture in the world, leaves serve as a symbol of the cycle of rebirth and renewal. The leaf is often seen as an indicator of hope, growth, and connection to community.
For thousands of years, agates have been used as gemstones. They feature in ancient collections found in places like Egypt and Greece and sparked a major industry in 15th century Germany. Moss agate is often associated with gardeners. It's the gemstone of new beginners, a balm for the soul and attracts wealth and new possibilities.
The stone in this necklace has been treated with a clear resin as part of the inlay process. This colourless resin serves to increase the durability of the stone.
Our little leaf is framed in sterling silver and hangs on a delicate 24 inch (60 cm) sterling rolo chain. It measures roughly 1.5 inches long (40mm) and half an inch (12mm) wide.
